COMMUNION MINISTERS

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion” are men and women who help distribute the Host at Mass. They are people of lively faith and prayer, who serve Jesus whose body and blood they will share. After training, they will assist the Priest, the “Minister of the Eucharist,” and Deacon, an “Ordinary Minister of Holy Communion.”
For more information on how to become an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion at Mass, please contact Fr. Rick or Deacon Mike at the Parish Office at (860) 872-0200.
People who bring Holy Communion to those unable to attend Mass are Ministers to the sick and homebound. More information, please go to: Ministry to the Sick and Homebound
