Parish Family
Role: In any family, there are services provided to help the celebration of family gatherings go well. The parish family service provides services to support our parishioners and other parish ministries.
Examples of the services they provide include hospitality for parish events, parking lot ministry, Women’s Guild, Prayer Shawl Ministry, Bereavement, events setup, technology assistance for parish ministries, and assistance in creating the parish environment.
Worship
Role: The liturgy of the Church is planned and coordinated by the clergy with the assistance of the music ministries and the environment team. The Liturgical service provides support for the liturgical ministers by offering days of prayer and reflection, as well as opportunities to build up and train the parish liturgical ministers. Coordination of annual days of reflection for each of the liturgical ministry groups and regular communication is provided through the Liturgical service team.
Community
Role: The community service team provides a connection between the parish and the community. This team coordinates Blessed Sacrament participation in community events.
The parish outreach to the community and in particular to people in need is coordinated by the Community service ministry. Our relationship with outside groups such as Cornerstone, Clairvaux House, The Knights of Columbus, and town-wide events like the National Night Out and the National Day of Prayer are supported by this ministry.
