Annual School Supply DriveBlessed Sacrament Parish, through our Justice & Peace Committee and the St. Bernard Women’s Guild, is working with 2 social workers from the CT Department of Children and Families this year. One has requested gift cards which will be distributed to families in need to purchase their own supplies as well as to Tolland Human Services and Vernon Social Services. The other has requested school supplies.

• If you would like to donate gift cards (to stores such as Walmart, Staples, Target, etc.),they can be dropped in the collection basket at Mass at either Church this weekend - August 20/21 -or brought to either Church office no later than August 21st.   If you purchased gift cards through the gift card sale last weekend, please remember to pick them up and drop them in the collection basket or either Church office no later than August 21st.

• If you would like to donate supplies, the St. Bernard Women’s Guild will have their pack n play set up in the St. Bernard Church Hall for items to be dropped off August 1st through August 21st. Some specific items that have been requested for older grades include:  college ruled paper, college ruled composition books, binders, and solid color backpacks.
