Catholic Book Club

April 18, May 2 & 16

Morning sessions at St. Bernard Parish Center
Evening sessions available on zoom

Blessed Sacrament Parish Book Club Spring session will begin in April. We have an option available to gather in person as well as an option for Zoom discussion sessions for those who want to participate from home.

New members are always welcome. If you enjoy reading and learning about our Catholic faith then book club is made for you! Book club will inspire participants on our Catholic faith journey to develop a deeper spiritual life, and strengthen our personal relationship with Jesus and with each other.

Our next book will be Hope. Always. Our Anchor in Life’s Storms by Kris Frank.  Hope. Always. is a wonderful book on a deceptively simple virtue, Hope!  People often reduce hope to a mere optimism about the future, or they may see it as synonymous with trust in God. In this book, the author offers his down-to-earth and personal reflections on hope and how this crucial but often-misunderstood virtue can change our perspective on life’s difficulties.

There is no cost to join, however, participants buy their own book. Click here to register by April 4th.

  • Our in person morning session will run from 9—10:30am in Room 200 in the Parish Center at St. Bernard
  • Our evening Zoom session will run from 7—8:30pm.
