Dear Parish Family,
I’m happy to announce that Deacon Larry Barile will be ordained to the priesthood on December 8, 2021. Deacon Larry was assigned to our parish two summers ago and was a great gift to the Blessed Sacrament community. His ordination will be held at our Cathedral in Norwich and will begin at 10:30am. Everyone is invited. The Mass will also be livestreamed from the Cathedral and can be accessed by going to the diocesan website.
Deacon Larry’s First Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Church in Coventry on December 9th at 6:00 pm. All are welcome.
I also would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who was involved with our Parish Ministry Fair Weekends. What a beautiful reflection on who we are as a parish and as individuals. God bless each of you for your witness. We have a great parish and I feel so blessed to be a member of our faith family.
