Living through grief is not easy but it does not have to be done alone. Blessed Sacrament Parish will offer a 9 week support program called, New Day, for those who have suffered the loss of a loved one. The goal of this program is to provide a sense of community where support is given and received.
The New Day program is led by trained facilitators and includes prayer, discussion, and journaling. Although New Day is a faith-based program, it is not restricted to Catholics and all are welcome.
The next support group, for those bereaved 6 months or more, will run from April 13th thru June 8th. Because of the nature of the support group, it is limited to 6 persons; we ask for a commitment to attend all sessions.
We encourage early sign-ups, as space is limited due to the need for social distancing. Use of masks will be necessary for these meetings.
