Faith Formation Registration will open Sunday, August 10th at 5:00pm

Our Class Schedule for 2025/2026 is:
K-6:
Sunday, 8:45-9:45 AM at St. Bernard
Monday, 4:30-5:30 PM at St. Matthew
Monday, 5:45-6:45 PM at St. Matthew
7-Confirmation:
Monday, 7:00-8:00 PM at St. Matthew
Tuesday, 6:00-7:00 PM at St. Bernard
Faith Formation Classes will begin with a parent orientation and Safe Environment lesson for the children on September 28th, 29th, and 30th. First class is the following week, October 5th, 6th, and 7th.
Teachers and aides are asked to attend a start-up meeting on September 22nd and 23rd – detailed times and locations will be emailed to the all volunteers soon.
We are still in need of many Teachers and Aides in all grade levels. In appreciation for your service, all catechists and aides receive free tuition and early registration.
Grades K-6:
Sunday 8:45 am at St. Bernard: 1 catechist for Grade 3 and aides for Grades K/1,2,3, and 5
Monday 4:30 pm at St. Matthew: 1 catechist for Grade 6 and aides for Grades 4,5,and 6
Monday 5:45 pm at St. Matthew: 1 catechist needed for each class in grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 and aides for K/1, 3, 4, 5, and 6
Grades 7-Confirmation:
Monday 7-8 pm at St. Matthew:
2 catechists, 2 aides for Grade 7
1 catechist, 1 co-catechist & 1 aide for grade 8
1 co-catechist or aide for CP1(1st year Confirmation)
1 co-catechist or aide for CP2 (2nd year Confirmation)
Tuesday 6-7 pm at St. Bernard:
2 catechists, 2 co-catechists or aides for CP2 (2nd year Confirmation)

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 1
We are excited to offer a pilot year of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) Level 1 for children ages 3-5 this 2025-2026 Faith Formation year. CGS is a hands-on, Montessori-based approach to faith formation that nurtures a child’s relationship with God through Scripture, liturgy, and quiet contemplation. Rooted in the belief that children are naturally capable of deep spiritual insight, this method invites them to encounter God's love at their own pace in a peaceful, thoughtfully prepared environment.
Sessions will take place Monday evenings at St. Matthew Church during regularly scheduled faith formation times (4:30 – 5:30 PM, 5:45-6:45 PM). Space is very limited; please be prepared to enroll when registration opens at 5pm on August 10th.
We will also be offering CGS-based presentations as a Children’s Liturgy option at selected 10am Masses at St. Bernard Church this year.
