Blessed Sacrament Parish, through the St. Bernard Women’s Guild and the Justice & Peace Committee, is working with local social workers and organizations to provide school supplies and gift cards for children in need in our area.
If you would like to donate school supplies:
There will be a box marked “School Supply Collection” in the St. Bernard Church Hall for items to be dropped off the weekends of August 2/3 and August 9/10.
Items needed are new or nearly-new backpacks, pens, pencils, erasers, spiral notebooks, packages of underwear.
If you would like to donate gift cards:
Please place the gift cards in an envelope clearly labeled Justice and Peace School Supply Collection and drop in the collection basket at any Mass or at either parish office through Sunday, August 17th.
Recommended gift cards include Walmart, Target, Kohl’s, Staples, etc. Any size card is appreciated.
