Our service project will be supporting Tommy Glinski’s Soctober Collection, in memory of Bryan Flint, former director of Cornerstone Foundation. Tommy’s first Socktober in 2016 raised over 200 pairs of socks, and since then, more than 9,000!
We are looking for NEW, any size, color, or style of socks and undergarments to be distributed to local shelters, clothing banks, and outreach programs.
Each night in the United States, an estimated 600, 000 people live on the streets. This October, we want to show that even a small act of love, such as donating a pair of socks, can make a big difference in the lives of our neighbors who are homeless.
“Mr. Flint passed away last year in a tragic accident. He was the biggest supporter of this project. I am hoping to make this year our biggest collection ever in honor of his generosity.” ~ Tommy
