Blessed Sacrament Parish, through the Justice & Peace Committee and the St. Bernard Women’s Guild, is working with local social workers and organizations to provide school supplies and gift cards for children in need in our area.
- If you would like to donate gift cards, place the gift cards in an envelope clearly labeled Justice and Peace School Supply Collection and drop in the collection basket at any Mass or at either parish office through August 18th.
Gift cards can also be purchased at our gift card sale the weekend of August 10/11 at either church with pickup August 17/18. These cards will benefit the children of our community as well as the children of our twinned parish in Haiti!
Recommended gift cards include Walmart, Target, Kohl’s, Staples, etc. Any size card is appreciated.

- If you would like to donate school supplies, there will be a box marked “School Supply Collection” in the St. Bernard Church Hall for items to be dropped off the weekends of August 3/4 and August 10/11.
Some specific items that have been requested include: solid color backpacks, pens, pencils, spiral notebooks, crayons, glue sticks, dry-erase markers.
