Parishioners at St. Matthew are interested in purchasing an electric votive candle offering stand similar to the one at St. Bernard. Real votive candle stands were removed from Churches years ago due to changing fire insurance requirements.
The cost of the stand is $5,600. And we already have donations totaling $3,000. If you would like to donate toward the cost of purchasing the stand, please drop a check in t he collection basket at Mass or at the church office with “St. Matthew Candle Stand” on the memo line.
Offerings from use of the stand will be dedicated to the Haiti Fund.
