I was in prison and you visited me (Matthew 25:36)
The Blessed Sacrament Parish Prison Ministry program visits with prisoners at the Cybulski Correctional Center (for men) in Somers CT and the York-Niantic Correctional Prison (for women) in Niantic CT.
- At Cybulski, our team presents a program on the first and third Friday of the month, which runs from 6:30-7:30pm. We reflect on the Sunday readings and discuss with prisoners how these readings impact their lives and their relationship with God.
- At York-Niantic, our team conducts a bible program from 6:30 to 8:00pm every other Thursday. In addition, we will be doing a retreat for the women in June and October.
The feedback we have received from both the men and women in each of these facilities has been extremely positive in terms of how these programs have affected their lives and their relationship with God
