The Justice and Peace Committee wishes to thank our parishioners for their generous donations to our gift card collection for school kids. We are tremendously grateful for your wonderful support.
We are aware that many people may have wanted to donate but have been away or have been busy themselves preparing for the new school year. Therefore, the committee has decided to extend the collection through September 9/10, for distribution to our social worker the following week.
You can drop off gift cards (placed in an envelope labeled “School Card Collection”) in the collection baskets at any of the Masses or at either church office. The preferred cards are Walmart, Target, Kohl’s, Staples and Amazon, and the preferred card increment is $25 (though any amount is accepted). You can make a difference for a child as they head out for their new school year.
