Pentecost Retreat 2026

MEET OUR PRESENTER:

 

Deacon Tim will help us understand the gifts of the Holy Spirit and how they can influence our lives. Deacon Tim will discuss how the Holy Spirit influenced and influences his work which focused on developing and improving mental health systems that work with children and their families.

Last June, Deacon Tim celebrated his 20th year as a Deacon in the Norwich Diocese. Tim serves at St. Andre Bessette church’s three sites of worship of St. Augustine in Canterbury, St. Johns in Plainfield and All Hallows in Moosup.

Tim spends most of his ministry teaching adult religious education and OCIA at his parish and is also an active member of ACTheals.

ACTheals is a national and international association of Christian healthcare professionals, clergy and associates who are committed to the healing ministry of Jesus Christ and are open to integrating the gifts of the Holy Spirit into their lives and work.

ACTheals is non-profit organization and who’s mission is to heal and empower healing professionals to bring Christ’s healing power to others.

Professionally, Deacon Tim is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Senior Advisor with the Innovations Institute at UCONN School of Social Work. He is the former Director of the Office of Community Mental Health at the Connecticut Department of Children and Families. Deacon Tim retired from DCF after 30 years of state service. At DCF, Tim had extensive experience in both children’s behavior health and child welfare and he shared in the oversight of the statewide children’s behavioral health system.
