The Blessed Sacrament Parish Office of Faith Formation is in need of many volunteers to teach or aide the vast number of Faith Formation classes that we hold each year.
Our plan for the 2021/22 school year is to offer in person classes, at both campuses, alongside some alternate sessions yet to be determined. Our vision is to have our Faith Formation year begin the last week of September, end the last week of April or the first week of May.
If you have been praying about a way to serve God and our community, please consider volunteering to be a teacher or an aide. Training and materials will be provided. In order to provide a wonderful experience for all of our children and teens we need many hands ready to hit the ground running!
Grades K-6 – Choices for classes include Sundays at 8:45 a.m. at St. Bernard's, Mondays or Thursdays, in-person, 4:30 p.m. at St. Matthew's Church; and Wednesdays, 5:30 p.m. virtual via Zoom.
Our 7-10th grade program will have a rotation each month of:
two in person classes
Saturday Faith and Fun Night, which will include the 5pm Mass, dinner and service…and lots of fun!
guest speakers and/or special sessions either on zoom or in the church/hall
For grades 7-10 teachers and aides are needed for:
Monday evenings from 7-8 pm at St. Matthew Church twice per month
Tuesday evenings from 6-7 pm at St. Bernard Church twice per month
Although many details are not yet set, your help of prayer and service is very much needed and appreciated.
